💪 Your Mission

Are you passionate about the energy transition and using technology to drive decarbonization? Do you love designing and testing solutions with a focus on real-world needs? We’re looking for a Superstar Full Stack Developer to join our pioneering team at Wise Energy. You’ll play a key role in developing and scaling Wise.Brain, our intelligent energy management solution helping businesses decarbonize their energy usage, reduce costs, and maximize efficiency.

As part of our growing tech team, you’ll work on designing, building, and maintaining smart energy solutions that enable businesses to make the most of renewable energy and drive the decarbonization process.

📋 What will you be doing

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Build & Evolve Products – Develop new features and maintain existing ones for Wise.Brain, including Wise.Time Machine, our energy strategy simulation tool.
• Full Stack Development – Work on both front-end and back-end to deliver a seamless, high-performance user experience.
• Architectural Input – Collaborate on technical decisions to evolve and scale our platform architecture.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner with energy experts, sales teams, and clients to tailor solutions to real-world energy needs.
• Quality & Security – Ensure code quality, system security, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Internal Tooling – Improve and maintain our internal development tools and processes.
• Continuous Delivery – Test, iterate, and deploy features rapidly while maintaining stability.

🤝 With whom you will be working

You’ll be working closely with our CEO, our freelance Full Stack Developer, and the sales teams to design and implement the best energy solutions. You will also collaborate with clients to ensure we meet their needs while advancing our technological goals.

📈 How will we measure your success ?

After 3 months, you will have succeeded if:

• You’ve contributed to the development and launch of key features of Wise.Brain.
• You’ve worked closely with cross-functional teams to improve product usability and scalability.

After 1 year, your impact will be measured by:

• Having successfully helped scale the solution and launch additional key features.
• Contributing to the overall energy management architecture and integrations.
• Building a strong technical foundation for future product development.

🧠 What you need to succeed

Essential Skills:

• Fluent in English (French or Dutch is a plus).
• 1+ year experience as a Full Stack Developer, ideally in SaaS.
• Technical expertise:
  • Nuxt 4 (or similar modern front-end framework)
  • Python 3
  • SQL & NoSQL databases
  • Real-time data processing
• Interest in the Energy Transition – enthusiasm for renewable energy, smart grids, and energy flexibility.
• Problem-solving mindset – analytical, proactive, and solution-oriented.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with energy management platforms, decarbonization strategies, or SaaS scaling experience.
• Entrepreneurial Spirit: Ability to think creatively and iteratively to solve real-world energy challenges.

🏢 Our way of working

• Place of work: Hybrid – Our office is located in Be Climate Hub, in the center of Brussels, with flexibility for remote work.
• Hours: Flexible, we work between 9 AM and 5 PM.
• Equipment: You’ll need your own laptop and phone, but we’ll provide all other necessary equipment.
• Travel: Occasional visits to clients within the Benelux region may be required.

📝 Recruitment Process

1. First 15 min introduction call - getting to know you.
2. 1st Interview – 1-hour interview discussion with the CEO.
3. 2nd Interview – 1-hour technical interview with the CEO and Product Manager.
4. Technical Challenge – A coding task or problem-solving exercise to test your skills.
5. Final Decision – We’ll get back to you within 2-3 days after the interview.

Total Process Time: Approximately 2 weeks.
